How to control the DVD Player Using the V-Conference
System in B218
This help aid demonstrates how to use the DVD player using the V-Conference system. The DVD displays
through the multimedia projector to the screen.
To control the DVD player with the V-Conference system, follow the steps below:
1. Insert the DVD into the DVD player (Reference Figure 1). The DVD player is located in the black
cabinet under the control panel.

2. Activate the control panel at the instructor station by touching the screen (Reference Figure 2).

3. Touch the DVD button in the Preview menu, located at the top of the touch screen, to access the
DVD menu. If the DVD button is not shown, press the More button (Reference Figure 3).

4. The DVD should be shown on the preview monitor located next to the touch screen control panel
(Reference Figure 4).
The following options are available on the DVD menu:
1. Rewind
2. Play
3. Fast Forward
4. Stop
5. Pause
6. Skip back
7. Skip forward
8. Menu navigation
9. Volume Up
10. Mute

5. Use the DVD Controls (Reference Figure 5) on the touch screen to control the DVD and the sound
(instead of the multimedia projector remote).

In the Send menu, press the DVD button to view the image on the projector screen (Reference Figure 6).
