making sense of autism Level 2

Autism Education Trust training programme for schools.
Thomas Bewick School is an autism specific Foundation Special School in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our
trainers are experienced in working with children and young people with autism, reviewing progress and
developing strategies.
We offer a programme of face to face autism training for schools in the North East of England - from
Northumberland to Redcar and Cleveland. Developed by the Autism Education Trust (AET) with support
from the Department for Education, the training is aimed at practitioners working in mainstream schools,
special schools or specialist settings for children from the ages of 5-16 years.
The training can be delivered in your school on a date and at a time that is convenient for you or you can
book to attend a course at Thomas Bewick School in Newcastle.
