The peer-review proceedings of International scientific-practical conference ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT: PROCESSES AND TENDENCIES is published by the Faculty of Economics,
Vilniaus kolegija / University of Applied Sciences. In conference proceedings, both theoretical and
applied research papers, analysing the problematic cases of economics and management, are
published.
Conference proceedings have been published since 2011 every second year. In the
conference proceedings, papers in English and Lithuanian languages are published. All published
papers are blind peer-reviewed.

Abstract
It is a short summary of the main ideas of article. The research object, the aim of the study, the study methods,
results, and conclusions should be specified. Text is limited to 200-250 words.
There are 4-7 keywords which are separated by commas.
Introduction
There should be specified the object and purpose of the research, the relevance of the topic,
the problem, problem investigation level, a review of reference list and applied research methods.
Main Text
This text sets out and justifies the study results. It is recommended logically divide text into
sections. Titles of sections have to fulfil their contents. Sections names are numbered in one Arabic
numeral, subsections are numbered in two Arabic numerals. All the authors works mentioned in the
text have to be included in the reference list. References to the source are in parenthesis with
authors surname and year of publishing, e.g.: (Skousen, 2016; Gerber, 2014), (Mackevičius, J.,
Subačienė, R., 2016), (Ulrich 2012a, 2012b). If there are more authors, only the first author’s
surname is pointed, then et al, e.g. (Browning et al., 2014). Mathematical formulas (expressions)
are printed only in Microsoft Equation Editor Times New Roman 11 pt font size. Formulas are
numbered in Arabic numerals in parentheses at the right edge of the text.

Illustrations, diagrams, pictures are consecutively numbered in Arabic numerals with a title
(no dot after title) e.g.:

Short and informative. No contractions. Title is in Lithuanian and English. If article is in Lithuanian, the title in English is presented
before the summary in English. If article is in English, the title in Lithuanian is presented before the summary in Lithuanian.

printed where the text mentions. It is necessary to specify the source of information
The paper should be prepared in MS Word format. Text is printed in Times New Roman font
type (1 table), A4 size sheet. Text alignment is reciprocal. Single line spacing. Top and lower
margins- 2 cm, left margin - 3 cm, right - 1cm. First line indentation – 1,25 cm.
Paper volume: 6-8 pages.
There should be single line spacing between the paper title and authors name and surname,
section title ant text, text and formula, text and table, text and illustration.
Pages should be numbered in lower margins in the middle in Arabic numerals without dots
and dashes.
Conclusions
Summarised results of research are presented. No quotations and references to the sources in
conclusions.
Reference list
Not numbered. Only quoted sources in the paper are presented. Preferably the newest
sources published within the last five years would be included into reference list. It is listed in
alphabetical order in original language.
