SPEED OF PLAY
The Pace of play for Sierra Sage Men's Club Tournament should be NO more the Four and a half
hours (Fifteen minutes per hole ).
A player should make sure his groups stays up with the group in front of them and not get more
than one hole behind.
There will be clocks posted on the course so each group can monitor their pace.
If your group is more than Fifteen minutes behind the pace as you finish the ninth hole, your
group will receive a warning. So your group will be on the clock. If at the completion of your
groups round and you are still more than Fifteen minutes behind the pace you will be penalized
one stroke. ( Each player in the group )
On your scorecard there will be a pace time to show when you should be finished with each
hole you play.
The Tournament committee will keep track of penalized members and if you are penalized
again, you will receive a two stroke penalty and will only be able to sign up for the next
tournament you play in after the 10:32 time slot.
Please remember that if you hit a shot into the sagebrush, please hit a provisional ball to help
speed up play ( think of the provisional shot as a free practice shot )
