How to enroll in Gaston College courses
Enrollment Paperwork
• Meet with Mrs. Lackey to pick up enrollment paperwork or download it from
the Guidance website.
• Complete the top section of the paperwork (demographic information),
leave the middle blank (Mrs. Lackey will complete), student and
parent/guardian both sign bottom of form.
• Return completed paperwork to Mrs. Lackey.
• Complete demographic information at the top of the form.
• Leave pathway and course information blank (Mrs. Lackey will complete).
• Student and parent/guardian signatures and dates are required at the bottom of the form.
Online Gaston College Application
• Students new to Gaston classes must create an account and complete the online
application to be active in Gaston’s student data base.
• If you took a Gaston class last year, you DO NOT have to complete the online
application again.
• Once the online application is complete, students must print off the confirmation
page and return it to Mrs. Lackey with their enrollment form.
• Mrs. Lackey will then send the enrollment paperwork, transcript, and test scores to
Gaston College for the student to be enrolled in the course of his/her choosing.

Fill out everything that has a red star next to it.
Sometimes when you are entering your email address, a notification will pop up saying that the email is already in the system, if
you get that warning, enter a different email address.
When selecting the high school you are attending, click the “find” button and type in East Lincoln High School and it will pop up
for you to click on.
Create an account
name, password,
and security
question. Click
‘create my
account’ to be
taken to the
application screen.
Click ‘Name and Address’ to begin the application.
• Most of the information needed on the Name and Address portion are pre-populated. The only
information you have to enter is telephone number and email address.
• Only items with the red stars need to be completed.
• Click ‘Personal Information’ when you are finished.

Enter your social security number and student number (power school number). You cannot proceed with the
application if you do not enter your SSN.
•
Ethnicity and race are optional.
•
Complete citizenship and residency information- all red stars are required fields.
•
If you indicate you have a driver’s license, you must fill in your driver’s license information.
• Complete “I have
lived in NC since”,
Mother’s Residency
Information, and
Father’s Residency
information
• Complete Military
Service questions
• Financial Aid,
Emergency Contacts,
and Family Education
Information are
optional
• When you are
finished, click

When finished, click
Educational
Information.
• Select High School like
you did previously,
type will be public,
street, city, and
country will populate,
you will need to select
the county.
• Enter your expected
graduation date.
• High school track will
be college prep.
• Did you graduate from
high school will be
currently high school
student.
• Education History:
Answer both
questions.
• Other Colleges
Attended: Leave
blank.
• Student Statement:
Type your name in
the box, then click
submit application.
• In the submit
application screen,
you do not have to
click the boxes
about your
transcripts; Mrs.
Lackey will take
care of that for you.
• After you submit
your application, a
confirmation page
will appear. Make
sure to print a copy
and return it to Mrs.
Lackey. This is part
of the paperwork
she has to submit to
Gaston College.
