PHYSIOTHERAPIST
 A qualified Physiotherapist can, using their physiotherapy skills take care of
injury to a sports person.
 The Physical Fitness and Leisure Management Program offered by
Cambrian college trains the student in the area of exercise which enables
full recovery of the sports injury by strengthening of muscles.

 The Physiotherapist can take advantage of the college’s 4000 sqft fitness
center of the college.

 Cambrian college was one of the 1st institution in Canada to make
CSEP – CPT national personal training certification available to
students WITHIN its curriculum.
 The certification endorsed by the CANADIAN SOCIETY FOR
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY (CSEP) and the ONTARIO SOCIETY
FOR HEALTH AND FITNESS (OSHF), enables graduates to work in
the growing areas of personal training and exercise therapy.
 Therefore, a student not only gets an advanced diploma but also can
get 2 certificates duly certified by the competent authorities, enabling
easier job opportunity search.

WHY IMTQ/IMTN FOR A QUALIFIED
ENGINEER
 Industrial Mechanical Millwright is a electro mechanical technician
who is trained to diagnose, install and maintain plant machinery in a
systematic manner with a high degree of efficiency.
 The 2 year program offers the students practical training that is
consistent with the In-school component of a Millwright
apprenticeship. The program also improves their Communication
skills, thereby increasing their skill levels inline with the Industry.
 The training in the Industrial Mechanical Millwright program is
consistent with the in-school of a Millwright apprenticeship.
WHY IMTQ/IMTN FOR A
QUALIFIED ENGINEER
 Students completing this program may enter industry as an
apprentice.
 Students who choose and qualify, to participate in the optional COOP Diploma Apprenticeship/SkyTech program become registered
apprentices sponsored by SkyTech.
 Through their participation in this program, these students have the
opportunity to participate in Two Paid co-op placements while
earning a college diploma.

Why Business AdministrationAccounting
 The program balances and intense focus on accounting with a broad
education in the areas of business by combining courses in financial
accounting, managerial skills, finance, cost accounting systems,
auditing, computerized accounting and personal and corporate
income taxation.
 The program blends traditional lectures with formal presentations
and individual work on practical exercises that model the real
business world.
Why Business AdministrationAccounting
 Students also learn spreadsheets as well as in the latest




accounting software including Simply Accounting, ACCPAC,
Profile and Case-ware.
A placement in semester 6 provides additional hands on
experience and opportunities for networking.
The placement is arranged by the field placement coordinator
and the students are formally evaluated by their employers.
Graduates from this program can continue their study at
university and receive credit for their prior college education.
Graduates may also continue their studies towards one of the
accounting designations (CGA, CMA, CA and CAFM).

 The Pre-Health Sciences program with 2 semesters of
English, Mathematics, Chemistry and AnatomyPhysiology in addition to elective subjects Physics will
ensure that students have prerequisites to apply for
Health sciences program.

WHY HUMAN RESOURCES
 Apart from the graduate certificate the student can

pursue a Certified Human Resources Professional
(CHRP) designation.
The nine core courses required to access the National
Knowledge Exam (NKE) are fully approved by the
Ontario Human Resources Professionals Association.
Additional courses include meditation, practitioner
seminars and an eight week placement in a professional
human resources environment.
Field placement in Semester 3 (Unpaid).

 The Organization Management program enables students to
leverage existing career and educational experiences to move into
management positions.
 Students will take carefully selected business courses in finance,
marketing, human resources and leadership.
 In addition students will have the option to select courses from
specific industry streams – health care, community services, not-forprofit and trades and technology.
 These courses are designed to provide industries specific
perspectives that will enhance employ ability and career
advancements.

 This one-year graduate certificate is designed for students
interested in pursuing a career in global business
management. This intensive program enables students to
delve into key areas of global management, including global
marketing, finance, and supply chains. Students will develop
the core skills required to effectively manage the aspects of
global business activities for an organization.
 Graduates may also pursue additional certification towards a
Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) designation as a
Certified International Trade Professional (CITP).

Students doing a combined program will have a gap
between winter and fall Semester.
Students starting in January will study from January to
April and September to December for the 1st subject
i.e HMPD.
May - August Period may be used as a working
semester. It is the students responsibility to get work
during this period.
MOGC will follow the regular schedule.
