CLUB
OFFICIATING
CLINICS
Do you have
young,
inexperienced
athletes who
need additional
education and
training on the
core aspects of
scoring and
officiating?
 The Delta Region has sanctioned
clinicians that can come to your
place to assist with their training.
 The club-hosted clinic is intended
to supplement the required online
training.
 Attendance at a club-hosted clinic
may take the place of watching the
online clinics, but does not
constitute certification.
SANCTIONED
CLUB
OFFICIATING
CLINICS
Do you have
young,
inexperienced
athletes who
need additional
education and
training on the
core aspects of
scoring and
officiating?
 All referees and scorers
are still required to take
the online quiz(s) through
USA Volleyball Academy
to receive certification.
 Having someone in-person to
answer questions and explain the
process might be less confusing
for those that are new to
officiating.
GUIDELINES FOR HOSTING
CLUB OFFICIATING CLINIC
Only Delta Region ‘sanctioned’ clinicians may teach
the clinic.
Club pays $100 for each session, plus clinician
mileage reimbursement at $.56 per mile (over 40
miles)

of 60 participants total
Sessions may be scheduled back to back for those
clubs with more than 60 participants
GUIDELINES FOR HOSTING
CLUB OFFICIATING CLINIC
All club-hosted clinics will be scheduled & billed
through the Delta Region office.
Clinic needs to be in a class room setting that fits up
to 60 people (or less if you have fewer
participants)…gyms are not appropriate for clinic
setting
Classroom needs to be available 20 minutes prior to
class for set up purposes
GUIDELINES FOR HOSTING
CLUB OFFICIATING CLINIC
Keys to access classroom and/or building (or set up
a time for a club staff member with keys to arrive).
There will need to be at least one adult in attendance
at all times.
