INTERN: JUNIOR ECONOMIST
NKC African Economics is currently looking for exceptional candidates to fill two or more internship
posts in the company. The interns must be studying economics part time, and can be either
undergraduates or postgraduates.
It is essential that the candidate studies part time.
The successful candidate will need to be:

Studying economics at the University of South Africa,
Highly numerate with an excellent academic background,
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel),
Passionate about financial markets, economics and current affairs,
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and
Able to work independently under pressure.
Experience in building trading algorithms/valuations/predictive models will be an advantage, as
well a working knowledge of Eviews.

Hours are negotiable and the contract will be for one year. The company is based in Paarl in the
