Start Times: Split Start
School Dual: Wrestling promptly begins at 8am. (Coach’s meeting at 7:30am)
Club Dual: Wrestling promptly begins at 2pm. (Coach’s meeting at 1:30pm)
Entry Fee: Team Fee: $400 for USA wrestling clubs. Deposit of $200 required by 9/15
Each team will need to provide proof of insurance and each wrestler must bring the attached, signed waiver
form to weigh-ins. Applications accepted in order of receipt.
Teams are considered entered only upon receipt of payment in full.
Weight Classes: 48,50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,122,138,HWT (max 160).
Teams may roster a maximum of 22 wrestlers for entry.
Weigh-Ins:
School Dual: Weigh-Ins 6:30am-7:30am
Club Dual: Weigh-Ins 12:30pm-1:30pm
No weight allowances
Format:
6-team tournament for School and Club Duals. Round robin tournament over 4 rounds.
Teams will be randomly matched up at the beginning of the tournament (wrestle all but 1 team).
Tie breaker order - head to head, team points, most pins, least amount of forfeits.
Eligibility:
School based teams must consist of K – 8th Grade wrestlers. Eligibility based on grade for the 2016-2017
school year.
All wrestlers must be from the same school program, except upon approval of the Tournament Director.
Club based teams must consist of K – 8th Grade wrestlers. Eligibility based on grade for the 2016-2017 school
year.
Must be 14 years of age or younger as of tournament date
Scoring: Modified PIAA rules. Traditional team scoring: 6=Pin or Forfeit, 5=Tech Fall (15 points), 4=Major (8
points), 3=Win (7 points or less).
General Information: Three 1 ½ minute periods. OT–1 minute sudden death, 30 second ride out.
Singlet and headgear are mandatory.
Each team must provide table workers.
Please bring chairs to the event.
Team Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place banners will be awarded for each event.

Concessions: Will be available all day.
Admissions: Adults $5.00 donation. Children under 12 are free. Two Coaches per team are free (Coaches
names are required in advanced).
EMT or Trainer: Will be on the premises the entire time of the tournament.

Recognizing the possibility of physical injury associated with wrestling, and in consideration for the North Penn
Youth Wrestling Club permitting the named wrestler to participate in the NORTH PENN K-8 SCHOOL and CLUB
DUALS Tournament, I, on behalf of my child and family and their assigns (“Releasors”), hereby waive any and
all claims against the North Penn Youth Wrestling Club, Inc., its volunteers, coaches, organizers, sponsors,
supervisors and owners of land or buildings utilized by these programs (“Releasees”), and release any such
claims against the Releasees, as a result of the named wrestler’s participation in the North Penn Youth
Wrestling Club, Inc. tournament and/or being transported to or from the same.
