1. Preparation
ZTE Z730 One Key Upgrade Tool is the Download Tool ZTE provides for T-mobile
All the screenshots are captured from the windows 7 and images may be different in different
OSs but there is only a little difference.

Warning:
1. Make sure that the device has enough battery capacity left.
2. Make sure the device is connected to the computer via USB cable during the whole
flashing process.
3. Please remove the SIM card form your phone before updating its firmware

2. Download Flow of Software
2.1 Make the device go to FTM Mode
Notes:
Make sure that the device has at least 5% battery capacity left before switching the
device to FTM mode.
How to make the device go to FTM Mode?
1) Power off the device. Don’t connect the USB cable to the laptop or PC.
2) Hold the Volume Down key and then press the Power button at the same time for 10
seconds then release the buttons to get into FTM mode.
3) The screen will light on and go to FTM mode.
 Please note you need have to wait for a few seconds (about 10 seconds) before the device
will go to FTM mode.
 Once the device is in FTM mode, you will see the following screen:

2.2 Flash flow
Download the ZTE Z730 One Key Upgrade Tool, then run the Tool.

2.2.1 Connect the cable or serial port line
Connect the device to the laptop or PC via the USB cable. And there will display
“Searching devices, please wait…” when the port is not rightly selected, like below.
If the port is rightly selected, like below.
2.2.2 Download the software
Note before beginning the download:
Make sure the device is connected to the computer via USB cable during the
whole flashing process.
If the device was connected, you could click on the Upgrade button to start
flashing process.

After successful downloading, the interface will display “100%”, just like below:
