Life Ball 2017 will be celebrated completely cashless. The whole Life Ball evening,
you can pay for everything with your cashless wristband – food, drinks, raffle tickets, and even donations!
How it works:
•On your ticket, you will find your personal GET cashless number.
•Go to lifeball.eventportal.io and register your cashless account and add credit to it prior to the Life Ball evening.
•On the evening of Life Ball, by scanning your entry ticket, your cashless account will be linked to your wristband.
•Thereafter, you’ll be able to pay the whole evening long using your wristband. Naturally, you can top up your
wristband at any charging station via cash, debit card, or credit card.
•For those who choose not to use their cashless account, payments are possible via terminals provided by
SIX Payment Services with a debit or credit card (preferred partner Mastercard).
After the Life Ball evening, use the code found on your wristband and go to the cashless platform.
You can decide how much of your rest credit you would like to donate to the association LIFE+ and how
much you would like to have refunded. You have until July 25, 2017 to receive your refund. For your donation,
you will naturally receive a confirmation of your donation.
Please be advised that the association LIFE + is not liable for lost or stolen wristbands.

In accordance with this year’s motto RECOGNIZE THE DANGER, the Life Ball evokes the
zeitgeist of the 1920’s and 1930’s. “Recognizing dangers in all areas, from health to society,
is the overarching theme.”
Should you hold a Style Ticket, please inform yourself as to the styling conditions for this
category at www.lifebible.org. The Style Police await all guests with Style Tickets at all entries
for impressive costumes.

ACCESS TO We would like to inform you that the Wiener Ringtraße will be closed from
CITY HALL 6.00pm to approx. 12.30pm between the Schwarzenbergplatz and
SQUARE Schottentor. Also there is no service of the streetcars between Bellaria and
Schottentor. Please use the subway line U2 stations “Schottentor” or
“Rathaus”.
ENTRANCE The entries to City Hall Square open at 7.30pm. The entries to the ball
grounds for guests in evening attire are located on the sides of
Lichtenfelsgasse (Entry R1) and Felderstrasse (Entry R2) from City Hall
Square. Only guests who appear in imaginative styling, have entry via the
Carpet from the main entrances on the Ring Street (Entry R3 and R4) until
approx. 8.45pm. Please be advised that entry in regular street wear is not
allowed (see Terms & Conditions). Please use the attached orientation
guide. To comply with current security standards, at all entries there will
be identity checks (body checks, backpack/bag checks). Large bags are
not permitted on the grounds.
OPENING Please be advised that the opening of Life Ball 2017 on Vienna City Hall
Square begins sharply at 10.00pm. Please be punctual and be aware of
waiting times.
ENTRANCE TO The entrances to the city hall are located on the right and left-hand-sides
of the stage, at the north and south vestibules. These gates open at
