ROUND ROBIN BETS
What is a Round Robin bet?
A Round Robin bet is a feature that allows you to place several bets simultaneously.
When you have between 3 and 7 selections on your bet card, you will have the option to
place them into all combination bet arrangements, all as single bets or a mixture of both.
If your selections prove correct, then you will win all of your bets. However, even if you
correctly predict only some of them, you can still gain some winnings from your Round
Robin bet.
The number of Round Robin bet options you will have to choose from depends on the
number of selections that are on the bet card. For example, if you have four selections on
the bet card, you will have the following check box options to choose from:
You can select one or more of these check boxes, which will simultaneously place all the
chosen bets at once. While the number of check boxes that appear can vary, they can
always be classified into three types of bets:
•
•
•
One or more check boxes will allow you to place several smaller combination bets
derived from placing every combination of selections listed on your bet card. For
example, if you have Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D on your bet card,
then checking All 2 selection combinations will place 6 combinations bets: AB, AC,
AD, BC, BD and CD. Similarly, checking All 3 selection combinations will place 4
bets: ABC, ABD, ACD and BCD.
There is an option that allows you to place a single combination bet involving all
selections on the bet card.
Selecting All single bets will place a separate straight bet for each selection on the
bet card (i.e. they are not part of a combination).
When there are 5 selections on the bet card and you choose to place $10 on All 2
selection combinations, $10 will be placed on every possible 2 selection combination, for
a total of $60 ($10 x 6 bets). The advantage to this method of betting is that not all of
your selections need to win in order for you to win money. If any selection loses, all bets
that do not contain that selection will still pay out, thereby reducing the overall risk.
Take for example that you want to bet on the following outcomes, each with an individual
bet price of 1.91:
1
•
•
•
•
Orlando
Minnesota
Toronto
Atlanta
+2.5
-2.0
+1.5
-5.0
If you bet $5 on all possible 2 selection combinations, the following 6 bets will be placed:
$5 on Combination 1
Orlando
+2.5 1.91
Minnesota
-2.0
1.91
$5 on Combination 2
Orlando
+2.5 1.91

-5.0
1.91
$5 on Combination 6
Toronto
+1.5 1.91
Atlanta
-5.0
1.91
Since there are 6 bets being placed at a cost of $5 each, the Total Bet Amount is $30.
The payout for each winning combination would be $1.9091 x 1.9091 x $5 = $18.22. The
Possible Payout for winning all 6 of these combinations is $18.22 x 6 = $109.32. Note
that the 1.91 shown on the bet card is the rounded form (1.9091 = 10/11 = -110).
Ideally, you will win all of your selections and collect the entire payout. However, to give
an example, let’s say that all of the selections are correct, except Toronto +1.5. With a
Round Robin bet, all of the combinations that do not involve Toronto would still be
winners.

In our example, three of the combinations did not involve Toronto and three did, so the
actual payout on this Round Robin bet would be $18.22 x 3 = $54.66.
Note that you can also choose to place individual single bets on all of the selections at
once or a single combination bet that includes all of the selections.
How do I place a Round Robin bet?
The Round Robin bet tab will appear when you have between 3 and 7 selections on your
bet card. To place a Round Robin bet you must click on the Round Robin bet tab, which
will then highlight as shown in the image below.
Once on the Round Robin bet tab, you can tick one or more of the checkboxes to place
multiple bets at once. Before placing your bet, it is important to notice that the amount
you enter into the Amount per Bet field will be multiplied by the number of bets in the
Round Robin bet. The minimum Amount per Bet is $1, while the maximum is dependent
on the limits normally associated with placing each of the bets one at a time. The Total
Bet Amount will be debited from your account balance to pay for the Round Robin bet.
When you are ready to make your Round Robin bet, simply click Place Bet.

Reviewing Round Robin bets
The Account Statement and Current Bets areas will be expandable to reveal more
information on each bet by pressing the “More” or “Less” buttons next to each.
For Round Robin bets, each runner will be numbered. These numbered runners will act as
a key to the corresponding chart below them. For example, the first row of the chart
shows there is a sub combination bet on Runner 1 and Runner 2, which has a price of
7.55, and that both runners are still in Open status (based on their color coding). As the
events are graded the “Status” and “Winnings” columns will adjust accordingly.
