You’ll find all the relevant info you need to make your film here. Get in touch any time if you have any questions. We want to showcase how much adventure can be had on our lovely little island in one year. We’re asking film makers to produce a maximum five minute film based on an adventure in Tasmania. Films can be fiction or non-fiction and focused on whatever ‘adventure’ means to you. Be a maximum of five minutes long. We will be strict on this. There is no minimum. Be filmed in Tasmania. Have a focus on adventure. This could be extreme adventure, or simply going for a bushwalk with the kids. Whatever adventure means to you. Be filmed and made between 1 March 2016 and 1 March 2017. Not contain any copyrighted music or other material without appropriate permissions for use. The organisers of One Year In Tasmania may not have time to verify all films for violation of copyright. It is the responsibility of film makers to ensure their films do not breach copyright laws. Any films found to breach copyright laws will be disqualified. To add to the impact of their film, we ask filmmakers to be present at the screening to introduce their films and to take part in a free workshop with the Mountainfilm on Tour presenter: Ingredients for Adventure: how to get your film selected for Mountainfilm.
