Sports Day 2016
On Thursday 7th June, with the
sun shining, we enjoyed another
fantastic sports day.
It was lovely to see so many parents and
friends join us as we celebrated our
children having fun and participating in
the various events including egg and
spoon, running, 3 legged, skipping, sack,
obstacle and our traditional Year 6
dressing up event.
The children also enjoyed watching
their parents take part in the
Mums’ and Dads’ races.
Everyone was eager to see their colours tied around the winners’
trophy and it was a very close knit competition this year.
Congratulations to the RED team who topped the score board with
72 points.
They were closely followed by the GREEN team who achieved
65 points.
With only 2 points in it the YELLOW team scored a fantastic
63 points.
After all that physical activity we felt we had earned something
special and we all enjoyed a BBQ and picnic. Well done to everyone
who took part and thank you to everyone who helped to make our
sports day so successful.
