BOX LEAGUE for SECONDARY SCHOOL PLAYERS
JUNE 2017
Wicklow Junior Tennis Academy is organizing box league matches for Secondary School
Players in June. Players will be asked to organize (themselves) and play 2 matches per week.
It will be helpful if matches are played week day morning times and other off –peak times.
We welcome all standards, boys and girls - as we will grade players into each group. At the
end of each week players will be adjusted into new groups. After each match both players
please text John Brady (086)2596965 the result. Please only enter this if you are available to
fulfill your fixtures.
Matches are best of 3 sets- if it goes to a 3rd set play a championship time break (first to
10points) as the third set.
Players get 1 point for playing the match and 2 points for a win

After week 1- Murray moves up, Nadal stays in the same group and Djokovic moves down.
Week 1; 29th May – 2nd June
Week 2: 5th - 9th June
Week 3: 12th - 16th June
Week 4; 19th – 23rd June

into white post box in the front hall in the club.
These box leagues are ideal for any secondary school students looking to practice, play
matches and meet new friends.
