Grainger Foundation awards BFMP $10,000 grant
DICKINSON, ND - DICKINSON - The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake
Forest, IL, has donated $10,000 to BFMP to support mentoring at-risk youth in southwest North Dakota.
“This grant will be used to mentor 10 children in the coming year,” said Kris Fehr, executive director. We are
grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity. It will make a real difference.”
The donation was recommended by Grainger’s Dickinson Market Manager Brett Ruhl and Bruce Koppinger.
Grainger has been part of the Dickinson community for nearly a year as a leading broad line supplier of
maintenance, repair, and operating products.
“We are proud to recommend the programs offered by the Best Friends Mentoring Program,” Ruhl said.
“We understand the need for making a difference for at-risk children and Best Friends Mentoring’s long
range goal to assist youth to graduate from high school.”
