Tic-Tac-Toe
Directions: Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night you will choose one activity for homework
for a total of three activities each week. The three activities that you choose must be in a row.
The row may be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. On Thursday night your homework is to study for
Friday’s vocabulary quiz.
Crossword Puzzle:
Using ALL TEN of your words
create a crossword puzzle. Use the
following website to do so.

Blendspace
Create a TEN slide blendspace. Each
slide should represent ONE vocabulary
word. You can use videos, articles, and
quotes to represent the word. The
definition should be present on each
slide.
Advertisement:
Create an advertisement (flyer,
coupon, commercial, etc.) for a
product. You must use at least
five vocabulary words in the
advertisement.
Foldable:
Create a foldable for your vocabulary
words.
Comic Strip:
Using ALL TEN of your vocabulary words
create a comic strip. The characters in your
comic should speak to each other and use
the vocabulary words. THEY CANNOT
SIMPLY SAY, “Hey do you know the
definition of allude?” “Yeah, it’s to hint or
suggest”.
Memory
Create a memory game using ALL
TEN your vocabulary words. On
one card write either a picture or
the word. On the other matching
card write the description in your
own words. Play memory
Create a Quiz:
Create a quiz using ALL of your
words. Model this off of the quizzes
you see every Friday. Create either
the matching front of the quiz or the
fill in the blank back. You DO NOT
need to create both.
Synonyms/Antonyms
Synonyms/Antonyms:
Write the words and TWO
synonyms (examples) and ONE
antonym (non example) for each
vocabulary word.
Linking Picture:
Create one single picture that links ALL
TEN vocabulary words. Each word
needs to be somehow represented in
one scene.
