March Madness PT Postal, bring on the round ball, set records and earn Unit points, earn
medals for the best male/female and best NJROTC Unit nationwide!
Between now and the end of March, enter, compete, submit your results & win!
Only $20 for your first team and $10 for each additional team.
Checks, money orders, purchase orders payable to: RVRHS/NJROTC.
Complete the application now with your Unit’s information and submit your results back
to RVRHS no later than March 31.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
1. Each team must be Coed and have 5 team members (at least 1 male or 1 female
on each team).
2. Competition must be completed by cadets within your school’s NJROTC program
and under the supervision of Naval Science Instructors (SNSI or NSI’s), and in
accordance with all your school & NJROTC policies, guidelines and ORM.
3. Entry fee must be received by RVRHS/NJROTC with your team(s) results, no
later than March 31. Results can/should be submitted through e-mail to both:
[email protected] and [email protected].
4. Units choosing to participate should notify RVRHS/NJROTC ASAP. We will
participate in this competition, but will be exempt from receiving any awards.
5. Winning results, medals, plaques & trophies will be announced and distributed
during the month of April.
a. Medals will be awarded to the high scoring male & female for each
school.
b. A plaque will be awarded to the highest scoring NJROTC Unit
nationwide.
c. All Units and cadets will be entitled to unabashed bragging rights!
The competition will consist of 5 events:
a.
Basketball Toss: Standing at the free throw line, most baskets in 2
minutes (1 pt per basket).
b.
Basketball Throw: On both knees, throwing the ball with one hand, the
other behind the back not touching the deck, use the best of 3 throws in 2
minutes. (1 pt per foot, rounded).
c.
Sit-ups: In accordance with the CFM, most sit-up in 2 minutes (1 pt per
sit-up).
d.
Push-ups: In accordance with CFM, most push-ups in 2 minutes (1 pt per
push-up).
e.
250 Yard Shuttle Run (5x50 yards, can be done indoors or outdoors):
From 10 to 1 points depending on cadet’s time, (See the matrix below)
