UC Head Coaching staff are issued with the responsibility of registering the children at the start of each session. UC Head Coach/s will always follow the registration process with a head count. This ensures that the coaching staff are 100% comfortable that all the children on the register are accounted for, and they do have children present whom are not assigned to the course. UC Head Coaching staff will always conclude the session with a final head count at the end of the session prior to collection. Upon arrival the UC Head Coach will check to see which children are absent from school prior to the session. In the event of a child being present, that is not pre registered to the course, the Head Coach is instructed to supervise the child back to the school office for the school to arrange collection. The coaching staff are fully aware that the organisation is not insured for any children that are not pre registered on to the courses. In the event of the coaching session comprising of a small group and being operated by a single member of staff, the coaching staff will make provision for a school assistant to come out to the session to assist with the supervision of the child. Parents are asked to sign out all children at the end of each session on official signing out sheets. The Head Coach will keep copies of the sheets in his coaching folder. Parents are informed in writing that children cannot leave our supervision without being signed out. Any children which are allowed to walk home alone unsupervised, must ensure that the company/Head Coach receive written confirmation of this from the school. Children will not be allowed to exit the premises unless the Head Coach is aware of pre written notification. UC request that all parents register their children 24 hours before the start of each new programme. If parents sign up their child to a course hours prior to the session there is a danger that the child’s information will not be updated in time, which, which could result in the Head Coach contacting the parent. Upon contacting the parent during the session, and the parent conforming that a pre booking was made on the same day, proof of the booking as a photo/screen shot will need to be sent to the school of Head Coach assigned to the course. Parental Obligations: - All parents must ensure that the organisation receives all relevant and up to date information with concerns to each child. It is the parent’s duty to ensure UC has all necessary information including emergency contact number and details surrounding medical condition or history. Parents must ensure that children wear the appropriate kit and clothing Parents must ensure that children bring a drink and their children bring appropriate footwear and equipment such as shin pads. Parents have a responsibility to ensure that their child is collected on time (9 minutes after the session has finished) Parents will be charged £10 for each 10 minutes they are late.
