WARRIOR HOMECOMING
In order to prepare for
their annual
Homecoming celebration
at the Alabama School
for the Deaf, students and
staff have dressed up in
many wacky ways this
week.
On Monday, the Silent
Warriors dressed in garb
from decades past for
“Old School Day.”
Tuesday was Mix ‘n’
Match, Wednesday was
International Day,
Thursday was Wild West
Day, and Friday, of
course, is Spirit Day.

The Alabama School for the Deaf’s
Dream Team went up against their
big rival, the Rowdies this week.
Earlier in the season, the Dream
Team fell to the Rowdies in a
devastating one-point loss. After that
game, the Dream Team’s resolve was
stiffened, and their fiery
determination drove them to work
even harder, in order to prepare for
the next face-off with their most
brutal opponents thus far.
The Dream Team finally took the
field against the Rowdies this
Tuesday night, in a nail-biter of a
game. The Dream Team went up a
point, then the Rowdies answered that
with a point of their own. The Dream
Team scored another point, then so
did the Rowdies. Dream Team scored
another two points, while the
Rowdies were only able to put up one

more point, leaving the final score at 4-3,
and the Dream Team celebrating their
hard-won victory.
The Dream Team will face the Rowdies
again next week, and determine the
champion of their rivalry. Go Dream
Team!
