We are proud to report that Team New Brunswick, led by Skip Vern Potter of Miramichi, has won
the Bronze Medal at the Canadian Vision Impaired Curling Championship held in Ottawa,
February 4 – 8. On speaking to him about his win, Vern expressed his thanks to the Highland
Society of New Brunswick at Miramichi for their kind donation, which helped buy equipment and
provide training for the team.
The Executive Council and the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick Scottish Cultural
Association congratulates Vern and his team on their win. They make us all “Very Proud
Indeed”. As many would already know, Vern is a board member of the NBSCA.
