Event Information
Entry fee is $50 per Team. Entrants must provide their own canoe and personal flotation device. Entry fee must be
received along with this completed entry form and the Release and Hold Harmless agreement to be considered an
official entry. Entry deadline is July 22nd.
 This is not a race and that speed in no way determines the outcome of the event. By signing this entry form
the entrants signed herewith agrees not to engage in racing or any other unsafe activity in connection with the
Yukon Quest Dawg Gone Canoe Race.
 Sign in will be at Graehl Landing (in front of ProMusic) at 2:30pm. At 4:00pm there will be a mass start. At
each of 5 (five) checkpoints the Dawg Handler and Dawg must get out of the canoe and go up to the
checkpoint, pick a playing card from the Checker and return to their canoe. The five checkpoints will be the
Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center, William Ransom Wood Centennial Footbridge (North side of the
Chena), Elks Lodge, Pioneer Park and the finish line at the Boatel Bar. Food and awards will be provided.
 Personal floatation devices must be worn at all times while on the water.
 All dogs must be leashed.
 Must be 21 or older with a valid ID to participate.
 No firearms, drugs or alcohol.
NOTE: This is a rain, shine or snow event with no refunds offered. No refunds for cancellations or no shows.
