PLAYING SYSTEM: Dear captains: We rely on you and thank you for your cooperation during the tournament in advance. Please let know all members of your team about the rules and information. The gym is open from 9.00, the first matches start at 9.30. Thank you for coming in time. Warming up phase during the matches is about 5 minutes. You can find all information (number of games, fields, referees) in the time schedule. The time schedule is just for overview, the games will go match by match. But please, try to keep the schedule. In basic group, you will play 2 sets per each match. 20 points are maximum and the set finishes when one team gains 20th point. The result can be 2:0 or 1:1 or 0:2. Result 2:0 - the winning team will gain 3 points. Result 1:1 – team with better score will gain 2 points, the second team 1 point, in a case of equalizing of score both team will gain 1,5 point Result 0:2 – the loosing team will gain 0 point The ranking of teams in basic groups will be calculated according to this order: 1. Winning points 2. Higher number of winning sets 3. Difference between won/lost balls 4. Mutual match (again in the same order) 5. Draw. In play-off, you will play 2 winning sets per each match. 25 points are maximum and the set finishes when one team gains 25th point. In a case of equalizing 1:1, the third set finishes when one team gains 15th point. We are playing according to the international rules (it is not allowed to touch the net) with these exceptions: 1. It is allowed to play only in 5 players. 2. It is not allowed to lend any players from other teams. Only in case of injury and with the competitor´s captain agreement you can lend a player from the same or lower level. 3. You may ask only for 1 time-out during the set. Matches in Level B+ and B- (only in main hall) have nominated professional referees; anyway support of dedicated teams is necessary. LEVEL B+: 2 groups AA with 5 teams, AB with 4 teams - Very easy system, in basic group each team plays against all in the same group - First 4 teams from each group are qualified for play-off; team on 5th place in AA group could have fun, no more matches - Detail info about the Play-off games can be found in the Playing schedule LEVEL B-: 1 group with 6 teams - Very easy system, in basic group each team plays against all in the group - According to the final ranking teams on 1st and 2nd place play Final; teams on 3rd and 4th place play Bronze medal match LEVEL C: 1 group with 7 teams - Very easy system, in basic group each team plays against all in the group - After the last match final ranking will be known. No play-off/medal matches GENERALLY: We would like to ask all captains to watch carefully all matches because there will go matches by matches and the warming up phase between the matches is only 5 minutes. Please take care of which field you play on. There must be at least 1 main referee, 1 referee who will turn the points and 2 line (side) referees. There will be a big refresh point. The refresh is for free for all participants. As usually we have medals for the first three teams in each Level! As usually we have some special awards for teams/individual players! Do not miss it!!!
