Position: Ball Park Concession Staff ___
Seasonal, Part Time.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Description: Responsible for greeting all patrons and selling products
requested.
Reports to: Concession Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
 Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
 Current certification in the following: American Red Cross First Aid
and CPR with AED.
 Demonstrated customer service experience.
 Ability to communicate effectively with the public and staff.
 Positive “can do” team attitude.
 Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities:










Enforce all Lincoln Park District facilities polices, rules and regulations
Greet and assist all patrons as they make a purchase
Collect fees and make correct change
Inspect the location on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or
equipment to the Manager
Maintain a safe and clean area
Complete records and reports as needed and requested
Inventory of all supplies as requested
Refer personnel problems to the Concession Manager if you cannot solve
them
Work with staff to accommodate patrons with disabilities in their purchasing
activities.
Complete additional duties as assigned by Concession Manager
Psychological Considerations:
 Exhibit pleasant and available manner at all times in public areas.
 Respond to problem situations in a professional and mature manner within
the policies and procedures of the district.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physiological Considerations:
 Clear and audible speaking voice needed.
 Physical ability to be active (standing, bending, reaching) for prolonged
periods of time
Environmental Considerations:
 Ability to work under pressure with interruptions
 Ability to work out doors for prolonged periods of time
Cognitive Considerations:
 Must possess good safety awareness and judgment
 Resolve differences and problems with good judgment
