Theme of the Year
We continue our journey to emphasise the message of the
importance of getting “THE BASICS” right. The oil and gas industry
is in challenging times and it’s vital that we all work in harmony to
achieve the ultimate goal of zero harm to people and environment.
PDO has three Golden Rules; Comply, Intervene and Respect.
In 2014 and 2015 our safety days focused on Comply and Intervene
respectively. The 2016 Safety Day theme will focus on Respect as
the third pillar of the Golden Rules which is fundamental to our lives
and our business”.
Quote from the PDO Managing Director’s Message:
“ This year we are focusing on Respect, arguably the most important
of all golden rules, an enabler, a driver for compliance and
intervention”
