RIVER CITY AMUSEMENT COMPANY POOL LEAGUE INFORMATION
ALL RIVER CITY LEAGUE PLAYERS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE
1. MONDAY AND TUESDAY BALL IN HAND FORMATS:
V.N.E.A. LEAGUE RULES
(BALL IN HAND)
**SILVER LEAGUE** Open 5 player teams 15 games, VNEA rules, 8-ball pool,
handicapped according to player averages, $5 per player league fees, $1.50 in quarters
per match.
**BRONZE LEAGUE** Open 5 player teams 15 games, VNEA rules, 8-ball pool,
handicapped according to player averages, $5 per player league fees, $1.50 in quarters
per match.
**CRUISER LEAGUE** Open 5 player teams, 15 games, VNEA rules, 8-ball pool,
handicapped according to player averages, $5 per player league fees, $1.50 in quarters
per match.
**All of the above leagues are scored by round points won. In case of a tie, total games
won will be used to determine league winner. 8-ball breaks are Re-Racks or spotted,
players split quarters for each game ($.50 each)
** Maximum handicap spot is 2 balls per player
** Handicap is always in effect regardless of team standings.
**ALL OTHER V.N.E.A. RULES ARE STRICTLY ADHERED TO!!
2. Home team captains are responsible to make sure both teams have paid their dues for
the match. Please fill out dues envelopes completely to assure proper leagues get credit
for league funds. Also, both team captains are responsible for making sure that the
scoresheets are accurate. In case of any dispute, the home scoresheet is considered the
official scoresheet. Visiting captains should check this scoresheet frequently during
league play to insure accurate scorekeeping.

3. $15.00 Players Fee will be paid for any players participating 3 weeks or more for the
same team. This fee will be taken out of the end of the year paybacks. It is a one time
charge per person.
4. All matches begin at 7:30 p.m. (Actual Time, Not Bar Time).
5. No substitutes may be added after the halfway point of league season unless approved
by League Director prior to the starting of the match.
6. VNEA INTERNATIONAL RULES IN EFFECT FOR ALL BALL IN HAND POOL
LEAGUES
7. FORFEITS: There will be a 15 Minute grace period. Games must be made up
within 2 weeks. Please notify River City when these make up matches are scheduled.
8. All league members will be qualified for any tournaments on the River City Calendar
of Events according to tournament specifications.
9. THE 1ST NIGHT OF ALL LEAGUES WILL BE PLAYED SCRATCH.
(NO AVERAGES OR HANDICAPS)
10. THE NEW RULE REGARDING MAKE-UP MATCHES IS AS FOLLOWS:
Any teams that can’t make their scheduled league match need to call the opposing
team captain at least 1 ½ hours before the scheduled time to play. There is a Captain’s
phone list of all team captains and co-captains in every team packet. Do not use
sponsor’s phone numbers.
All make-up matches will have a one month window to be scheduled/completed. If
matches have not been scheduled after 1 month, River City will try to help schedule the
match. If teams cannot agree, then the match shall be split using whichever format
your league is: wins, round points, etc. Match wins/losses leagues will be determined
by a coin flip.
After the final night of league in a season, all outstanding matches must be completed
within two (2) weeks of the final night. River City reserves final judgment in all
matches.
