CONDITIONS (of which instructions form part)
The Promotion
1. The title of this promotion is ‘Team Danske - Win A Live
Sports Experience’
2. Complete the entry form at www.teamdanske.com
Eligibility
3. You are eligible to enter the free prize draw if you;
a. are a NI resident aged 11-17 years AND
b. have lodged at least £20 to your Danske Discovery
Current Account AND
4.
c. registered for and used Danske eBanking services.
If you are under the age of 16 you must have permission from a
parent or guardian to take part in this promotion and claim your
prize should you win. Danske Bank may ask any prize winners for
proof of age.
5. Entries from third parties or agents, bulk entries or incomplete
entries will not be accepted. All entries must be made directly by
the person entering the prize promotion. Entries made online
using methods such as a macro, a script or the use of automated
devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be
disqualified.

This promotion is not open to employees of Danske Bank, the
immediate family of employees of Danske Bank directly connected
with the development or operation of the promotion, or any
agencies directly connected with the promotion.
How to enter
7. The promotion is open from 09.00 on Monday 19th September
2016 to 23.59 on Friday 31st March 2017 inclusive (the
promotional period).
8. By entering you will go into the Monthly Prize Draws and get one
entry into the Live Sports Experience Draw.
9. If you select your school name during entry your school will
receive one entry into a third draw to win a personal appearance
and coaching session from an Ulster Rugby or GAA top player.
10. To enter visit www.teamdanske.com and fully complete and
submit the online entry form during the promotional period
(see term 7 above). Entries received after the closing date will not
be considered.
11. Entry to the promotion is free. Internet access is required.
12. Maximum of one entry per person and email address. Entry to the
promotion is deemed acceptance of these rules. For help with
entries, please contact your local Danske Bank branch.
13. Monthly Prize Draw(s): There will be 6 draw periods with 1
winner drawn in each period. Entry for each draw period will close
at 23.59 on the final day of each period. Draw periods:
19.09.16 to 31.10.16
01.11.16 to 30.11.16
01.12.16 to 31.12.16
01.01.17 to 31.01.17
01.02.17 to 28.02.17
01.03.17 to 31.03.17
14. You will be entered into the first eligible monthly prize draw,
and into every subsequent monthly draw thereafter.
15. Live Sports Experience Draw: By entering this promotion you will
automatically be given one entry into this draw. The draw closes
at 23:59 on Friday 31st March 2017.
16. Coaching Session Draw: By selecting your school when entering
they will automatically be given one entry into this draw. The draw
closes at 23:59 on Friday 31st March 2017.
17. If you do not meet the criteria for entry outlined above and you
are a Northern Ireland resident aged 11 to 17, you can request
entry to the Prize Draw by writing to us at ‘Team Danske’ Prize
Draw, c/o Danske Bank, Business Development, 3rd Floor,
Donegall Square West, BT1 6JS providing us with your
name, address, date of birth, and email address. All requests to
enter the Prize Draw must be received by 5pm on Friday 31st
March 2017.
The Prize
18. Monthly Prize Draws. In each of the 6 draw periods there is
1 prize to be won. The winner can choose only 1 prize from either
a Go Pro Hero Session Camera OR a Fitbit.
19. You cannot win more than one prize in the Monthly Draws. Once
a monthly prize has been awarded to an entrant, their details will
be excluded from all subsequent Monthly Draws.
20. Live Sports Experience: This prize is for a family of 4 (2 adults and
2 children or 1 adult, 3 children) to their choice of a Sporting
Event in UK or Ireland to a maximum value of £4000. Prize will
include tickets to event, return transfers to event/city in UK or
Ireland, accommodation and match day transfers
(where applicable).
21. All other costs and expenses in taking up the Live Sports
Experience prize, including but not limited to, meals, room service,
travel insurance and spending money as required, are the
winner’s and their guests own responsibility.
22. For booking purposes, the maximum age of a child is 17.
23. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in
connection with the prize and the reporting consequence thereof are
the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
24. The Live Sports Experience prize can be taken up to 31st
March 2018. All Sports Experiences will be subject to availability.
Alternatives of equal value may be offered if first choice cannot
be achieved.
25. The earliest a Live Sports Experience can be provided will be
30 days after the date of completion of winner information and
prize acceptance (see term 34), unless stated otherwise at time
of notification.
26. Coaching Session Draw: There are two prizes to be won - one GAA
Private Appearance and Coaching Session and one Ulster Rugby
Private Appearance and Coaching Session. Each prize will include
a coaching session with the school’s nominated rugby or GAA
team delivered by a Senior GAA Player or Ulster Rugby Player,
followed by a Question & Answer session for up to 200 pupils
and teachers in your Assembly Hall. The winning school will be
advised which player is available to attend their school to carry
out the Coaching Session, and will be offered up to 3 possible
dates for the special appearance to take place. Player availability
is subject to existing match, training and PR schedules. Personal
appearance will last for 3 hours maximum.
27. All prizes are provided by Danske Bank. Danske Bank reserves
the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value
if circumstances beyond Danske Bank’s control deem it
necessary to do so. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non
transferable and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
33. If a monthly prize is declined or unclaimed after 28 days from
notification, the prize will no longer be available to that person
without any liability to us. The prize will be forfeited and awarded
to an alternative winner drawn at random in the manner
described in term 29. That winner/the parent or guardian will
have to respond within 28 days of notification or else that prize
will be forfeited.
34. The winner and their parent/guardian of the Live Sports
Experience will be required to sign and complete a winner
information and prize acceptance form. If the winner/parent or
guardian objects to the awarding of this prize or they do not
respond within 28 days of prize notification, then the prize will
be forfeited and Danske Bank shall be entitled to select and notify
another winner in similar manner in term 29.
35. If the coaching session prize is declined or unclaimed after 28
days from notification, the prize will no longer be available to
that person without any liability to us. The prize will be forfeited
and awarded to an alternative winner drawn at random in the
manner described in term 29. That winner will have to respond
within 28 days of notification or else that prize will be forfeited.
36. Any winner, whose prize has been forfeited, is not entitled to
payment or compensation of any kind.
37. Danske Bank will not be held responsible for the Live Sports
Experience Prize Winner and/or guests not taking the prize due to
health or any other reason.
38. It is a condition of winning that all winners agree to all reasonable
requests for publicity by the promoter and this may include their
photograph and/or filmed footage of their award, name and
county/town being used in any publicity selected by the promoter
including but not limited to press, radio, Danske Bank websites and
social media sites. It may also require winners to attend a location
of the promoter’s choosing to receive their prize.
39. All prize winners’ first names & counties and winning school
names will be published on www.teamdanske.com from the date
each winner has accepted their prize, and will be accessible for 12
weeks from the final draw date.
Limitation of Liability
Winner Announcements
40. Neither Danske Bank nor the promotional parties assume any
responsibility or liability for†any incorrect or inaccurate entry, or
for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions;
inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website
or any combination thereof; regretfully, we cannot be held liable
for system failures on the website. Neither can we be held
responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any third
parties involved in this promotion, although we will always
endeavour to minimise the effect to the participant of any
such failure.
29. The winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries
and the draws will be conducted by PromoVeritas Ltd, the
independent promotional verification service, and will take
place within 5 business days of each draw closing date from
all valid entries.
41. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or
distributers will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable
to compensate any winners or accept any liability for any loss,
damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up
any prize.
30. The winners of each of the 6 Monthly Prize draws and the winner
of the Live Sports Experience draw will be notified by email from
Danske Bank to the address provided, within 5 business days
of each draw closing date. In the case of winners aged 16 or under,
the winning notification will also be sent to the email address
given for their parent or guardian. If we do not receive any
objection from parent/guardian within 5 business days of
notification, the prize will be awarded to the winner.
42. All travel, accommodation and other products provided to Live
Sports Experience winner and guests will be provided subject to
terms and conditions of each such provider. Danske Bank will
not have any liability in relation thereto, and any dispute arising
from travel, accommodation of services must be taken up with
such provider.
28. Danske Bank accepts no responsibility for any variation in the
value of the prizes.
31. The two winning schools of the Coaching Session prize draw will
be contacted by telephone by Danske Bank.
32. Winners of a Monthly Draw prize will receive their prize up to 28
days from the date of prize notification.
43. Danske Bank accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury
or disappointment incurred or suffered as a result of accepting the
Live Sports Experience prize. It is a condition of accepting this
prize that the winner (and their parent/guardian and/or guests)
may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by
Danske Bank in their absolute discretion.
44. Danske Bank shall not be liable for any failure to comply with
its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its
reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not
limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, industrial disputes or
action, war or civil unrest or any other circumstances amounting
to force majeure.
General
Data Protection
48. Danske Bank reserves the right at any time to modify or
discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion with or
without prior notice due to reasons outside of its control (including,
without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or
actual fraud.
45. Danske Bank will provide the personal data of prize winners to
their agents, partners, contractors or third party service providers
on a confidential basis for the redemption of prizes.
46. Entrants’ personal data shall be processed for the purpose of their
participation in the prize draw only and will only be retained as
long as necessary for such purpose (i.e. until 3 months after the
end of the prize draw). By participating in the prize draw, entrants
consent that their personal data may, for the same purpose as
stated above, also be transferred to promoter’s third party
contractors necessary to process entrants’ participation in the
prize draw.
47. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of
these terms and conditions, the promoter may, at its sole
discretion, reserve the right to exclude an entrant from
participating in the promotion.
49. The decision of the promoter is final and binding and no
correspondence shall be entered into.
50. The prize draw will be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
