New Free Summer Inclusive Play Opportunities for 2016 Monmouthshire Open Access Summer Playschemes taking place at eight community venues across the County. The Playschemes will run every weekday from Monday 1st August until Thursday 25th August 2016. Parents/carers are required to accompany their child on the first day they attend to complete the full registration process. The Playschemes are free of charge and children are able to access more than one site if they wish. Children are not restricted in their movements, other than where related to safety matters. Children have the freedom of choice as to what range of play activity they wish to undertake and with whom they play. With the above in mind, please note it is not a childcare provision. All children under the age of 8 must be dropped off and collected by a responsible adult. The Open Access Summer Playschemes are being provided by Torfaen Play Service on behalf of Monmouthshire County Council, with the financial support of Town and Community Councils and Families First Funding from Welsh Government.
