TITLE OF SHOW: Hollywood’s Three
FORMAT OF SHOW: Reality Series
LOGLINE: “Hollywood’s Three” is a reality competition show set in the Los Angeles
area where Writers, Actors, and Directors compete at a shot to win $50,000.
1. SYNOPSIS: As we all know the Film Industry unfortunately is not a promising
career choice. Its highly unlikely for an ordinary Joe Schmoe to come to
Hollywood without any representation or experience, and his first audition
he’s cast a lead roll in a Spielberg film. Outrageous I know. Sometimes even
with the right team its hard to get your work to the right people. As a
solution we create a reality competition show where we cast ordinary
writers, actors, and directors with extraordinary talent and have them
compete against one another.
2. We would audition 27 of the most eligible cast members. 9 Writers, 9 Actors,
and 9 Directors and place them in 9 Teams of 3. Each team contains 1 Writer,
1 Actor, and 1 Director.
3. The teams are created randomly by picking one name from three different
hats. One hat has all the names of the writers; the other two hats have all the
names of the actors and directors. The Host picks one name from each hat
creating Team 1 and so on until there are 9 Teams.
4. Once the teams are chosen, the writer from each team is sent to the writer’s
room where a concept awaits. Each writer will be given the same concept, the
writers then must write a 3-Minute Scene about that concept in whatever
the genre may be.
(For Example: Week 1/EP: 1 – Genre: Horror – Concept: Your actor is home
alone and hears a sound. What happens next?)

(INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Susie is on the telephone with her best friend BECCA. Susie is watching
T.V. and giving herself a pedicure.
CONTINUED:
SUSIE
Friday Night and I'm home alone again. I'll never find Mr. Perfect.
Even with help from all the dating sites I've joined I can't seem to
find the right guy. Every date I've been on the past two months the guy
has a comb over to hide his bald spot or a beer belly.
BECCA (V.O)
Maybe when the guy asks you to meet him at the bar, you should
reconsider.
SUSIE
Trust me. If you subtract alcohol out of the equation all you’re left
with is dry conversation and awkward moments.
A loud thump comes from the other room. Susie jumps!
BECCA (V.O)
You alright?
Susie investigates. She sees that a pile of books fell over.
Susie
Yea. Some books just fell off the counter. Let me call you back.
Susie hangs up and tends to the fallen books. A school paper with a
huge red "F" covers the front.
SUSIE
Once again the universe reminds me of how big of a failure I am.
Susie closet door squeaks open. She slowly walks over and quickly opens
it. Nothing is in there.
Susie closes the door without looking. As soon as the door shuts a dark
figure appears and grabs Susie! Dragging her through the closet.

5. Once the writer finishes the screenplay, the actor in the team acts out the
scene, and the director in the team directs it.
6. After the film is completed. Each team will premiere their scene in front of a
group of Three Judges. The judges will score the overall film out of a total of
90 Points. Each category is worth 30 Points. Each judge will give 5-10
Points based on the writing, acting, and directing in the film. 5 being the
lowest and 10 being the highest.

7. The two teams with the lowest scores will go head to head in an individual
challenge.
For Example: Team 4 will go head-to-head with Team 7.
The two teams will be given a different concept in the same genre as before. The
person with lowest score in each category will be sent home.
