Paula
Wissing
Congratulations Paula and thank you for your
contributions to Psi Omega Pi!
Psi Omega Pi’s Executive Leadership
Board would like to thank Paula
Wissing for her contributions to our
mission as a counseling honor
society!
Paula assisted in organizing the annual
Out of the Darkness Walk 2013 with
members of POP. She effectively
communicated updates and reminders to
our general membership to generate
interest in POP’s contribution to support
the American Foundation for Suicide
Prevention.
In the month of December, Paula, along
with several other members of Psi Omega
Pi, organized and executed our annual
Holiday Party and Adopt-A-Family 2013!
This committee organized, purchased, and
accepted donations to the Adopt-A-Family
and delivered these donations to the

family. With their leadership, the family
POP adopted was able to have a fulfilling
and memorable holiday!
Thank you so much for all of your
contributions to Psi Omega Pi Chapter of
Chi Sigma Iota.

Engagement
President’s Column
Esteemed POP Members,
Since our last newsletter, POP members have been
busy in many ways including: community
engagement service, educational endeavors, ACA
conference attendance, preparing for the NCE,
CPCE, and commencement and using their skills in
practicum and internship. Psi Omega Pi renewed our
charter with Chi Sigma Iota and our beloved
President, Mary Bezold, resigned as she relocated in
order to care for an ailing family member. After
many years of dedicated service to POP, Mary will be
missed.
Please take some time to find upcoming
opportunities to serve, as well as different (and
updated) ways to connect to your POP/CSI
network. Your board members are working hard to
make sure you can know what is going on, so that
you can fulfill your service commitments and
meeting attendance in order to remain in good
standing as a member.
If you have any information about upcoming
activities, questions about membership, or just want
to offer feedback, please feel free to contact me, or
any of your board members. We are here to serve
alongside you.
