A purchase receipt or a similar proof of purchase of the goods should be retained by
the customer at all times. A warranty claim will not be valid without the proof of
purchase and a receipt. The warranty is only for the original buyer.
This warranty only applies if the products have been installed and used in accordance
with the manufacturer’s recommendations under normal use and reasonable care.
This warranty does not cover color fading of the product or deterioration in the
chemical composition.
All claims under this warranty must be made in writing addressed to Aussie Pool
Covers Pty Ltd.
Aussie Pool Covers offers a full replacement warranty for the first 12 months since
purchase on proven defective material and workmanship. Thereafter this warranty
covers the purchaser for defective material or workmanship on a pro rata warranty
basis as per the below table. The pro rata warranty discount on a replacement cover
purchase depends on the age of the cover at the time of material defect. The amount
of the warranty credit/discount period is calculated on the new purchase price and
does not cover the time for which you have used the cover. It will only apply to the
period where the customer has not achieved the life of the warranty time. We will not
refund any money and no cash payments are made.
Please note: Warranty claims are only credited and issued as a Discount on a
Replacement Cover purchase.
The warranty is void if:
1. The purchaser fails to comply with the manufactures installation instructions.
2. The purchaser fails to comply with our “How to Care for your Cover”
instructions.
3. Damage caused from pool chemicals including chlorine at a higher level than
normal ( chlorine exceeding 2.5 ppm)
4. Damage caused by super chlorination,
5. Damage caused by leaving the cover rolled up or by any other means of
storage in full sun above 35 Degrees Celsius
6. Damage cause by chemical imbalance of the pool water
7. Damage caused by exposure to excessive heat
8. If a white over cover was not used to protect the pool cover when rolled up.
9. If the cover or roller has been damaged in any way due to abuse, tampering,
modification, neglect, accidental or improper use.
10. The cover is stored at above 35 degrees Celsius in full sun
11. The cover is left on the pool in temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius
12. Pool roller exposure to sun which may cause damage to rolled up cover
13. Damage is caused by handling, freighting or transportation of the product
Claims will need to be in writing and in the first instance a photo of the faulty
product must be emailed to [email protected]. All associated freight
and delivery cost for all warranty claims and warranty product replacements must be
paid at the customers expense. If required the cover must be returned to the supplier
at the customers expense.
Labour costs for the original installation and for the replacement cover installation
are not covered by the product warranty and must be paid by the customer.
The pro rata warranty discount on a replacement cover is calculated as per the below
table.
For example, if the material damage is deemed to be a manufacturing defect for a
400 micron cover after 2 years of the purchase date, we will offer a 25% discount on a
replacement cover, in other words the customer will pay for 75% of the new purchase
price.
