Autumn Fayre
Thank you to everyone who came along to support
the Autumn Fayre this week in whatever capacity,
whether it was running a stall, baking a cake,
donating items for sale, or attending and
participating in the Y6 games - all contributions
are valued. We managed to raise a grand total of
£1,256. Thank you to Mr Barratt who has
managed to secure some further funding from
National Grid to increase this pot by a further
£400. Thank you so much to everyone for their
generosity and support.
Well done to the Y6 children who excelled again in
organising such a range of weird and wonderful
games. We clearly have some budding
entrepreneurs in Y6 who between them managed to
raise a staggering £243.51.
I feel all of the children deserve huge praise for
their hard work and thank you to parents who
helped the children so much too. A mention must
also go to Henry B who used his initiative and
wrote to four companies asking for donations for
his team’s stall. Both Morrison’s and Candy King
responded with donations of sweets and a voucher
to purchase items. Henry used these not only for
his stall, but was also able to help out some others
by providing some prizes. Congratulations on
showing such super initiative Henry.
Harvest Hampers
Again thank you for your kindness and generosity
in donations for the harvest Hampers - we
managed to deliver more than 20 hampers to the
residents of Barton, who were thrilled with to
receive such kind gifts.
Don’t forget we come back to school on Tuesday 1st
November.
Thank you, Mrs S Sharpe
