ATI Piccolo – the multi-purpose
electric transport
and harvesting machine
The ATI Piccolo is a multi-purpose transport and
harvesting machine with which up to 4 persons can
harvest and up to 2 persons can perform pruning and
tree maintenance at the same time.
The state-of-the-art electronic control of the ATI Piccolo
is especially designed according to the requirements
of modern fruit growing and very well suitable for all
activities on the trees. With its great versatility, the
ATI Piccolo is a true all-rounder with an excellent costperformance-ratio.
The convincing technology
• Permanent electric four-wheel-drive and additionell
functions like with a hydrostatic drive
• Optimal off-road and climbing ability as well as traction
• Powerful torque
• Maximum mobility through tank steering
• Programmable driving mode
• Electro-mechanical discharge system for fruit
containers
The discharge system
The special discharge system (patent applied) provides
a smooth and a shock-free discharge of fruit containers
also on slopes and lateral positions.
1
the full fruit container is lifted
2
the fruit container is moved backward during lifting
3
the fruit container touches ground
Gradient and driving direction
Through the adjustment of the machine platform
position the working platform can be adapted in the
driving direction. The inclination can be up to 25%.
The tiltable handrail can also
be used to adjust a gradient
position of the machine up to
15%.

Batteries and charging, change of batteries
The operation time of the maintenance-free Lead-Gel
batteries is approx. 8 hours depending on the operation
of the machine. Two additional batteries can be supplied
on demand.
The exchange of the batteries is done by removing
the battery plug from the electronic control unit.
Subsequently, the batteries will be taken out from the
fitting and connected to the battery charger.
Steering
The ATI Piccolo is steered by moving the joystick on the
joystick control box. The machine automatically slows
down when the joystick is released. The timer function
of the electronic control system permits an automatic
short ride with a certain speed.

Transportation of the
machine
The ATI Piccolo can be transported with the fork-lift or on
a trailer of the tractor.

The ATI Piccolo –
the multipurpose machine in
orchards and vineyards
The harvesting ladders
Fruits in the top area of the tree can comfortably be
harvested with the ladders. They can be mounted easily
on the machine platform.
The working platform
The single-person working platform can be used for all
pruning and tree maintenance jobs around the year. It is
mounted easily on the machine platform. The handrails can be folded out. Therefore fruits located at the
foot level of the machine remain undamaged and the
position of the person working on the platform is more
ergonomic while carrying out all the different jobs. The
foldable handrail can be adjusted in different positions.
The vineyard chair
The empties holder
With the holder for empties, 2 empty fruit containers
can be carried on the machine.
For comfortable work in the vineyard, a chair can be
supplied to be mounted on the machine platform.
The control panel of the machine can be moved in such
a way that the machine can be operated easily from
the chair.
Customer benefits
7 reasons for purchasing an ATI Piccolo
1.Time is money:
Through the utilization of the ATI Piccolo, up to
30 – 50% working time can be saved depending on
the type of work. In a fruit cultivation farm of 4 – 5
ha, the machine is in use for about 150 days a year.
Carefully estimated, it is possible to save about 60
working days. With an hourly salary of 8 €, working expenses are reduced by 3.000 € – 4.000 € per
person per year.
exhaust emissions. In addition, a diesel engine
creates strong vibrations during operation. This is
not the case with our electric machines.
2.Work-load reduction:
Work load reduction in a fruit orchard is of great
importance. For example, per year 7 – 10 work
operations are carried out in average on each fruit
tree. For each operation, a person has to climb about
one meter up and down the tree. This amounts to
climbing up and down 3.000 trees on each ha of
the orchard. With an orchard of 3 ha, this almost
amounts to climbing the Mount Everest.
5.Maintenance:
Our machines require very little maintenance.
3.Environment:
As our working platforms are electrically operated,
they do not create noise and air pollution through
4. Energy saving:
An electrical engine has 50% better power efficiency
as compared to a conventional combustion engine.
Therefore the operation expenses are considerably
lower than with a conventional diesel engine.
6.User friendly:
The operating elements are designed in such a
way that the operation of the machine is very user
friendly.
7.Comfort:
Slope adjustment as well as different driving
modes, for example timer and interval driving,
allow for a comfortable and efficient
operation.

Additional technical features:
Control panel:
The control panel provides greatest flexibility and its use can be learned easily.
The keys of the control panel are designed in such a way that driving the machine
is very easy.
Tank steering:
The ATI Piccolo is characterised by its excellent mobility. Through the tank steering
system, it becomes possible to drive very sharp turns.
The permanent 4-wheel drive of the ATI Piccolo enables all the 4 wheels to be
driven always. Thereby, the traction and braking efficiency is increased.
Programmable drive mode:
It is possible to programme a drive distance with the Timer – Stop & Go function
of the control panel.
Example: Distance: 1,5 m / Speed: 0,8 km/h
Through tapping the joystick shortly in the driving direction, the same distance
can be repeated as desired.
Automatic braking for maximum saftety:
Through the electro-mechanical brake system, the machine smoothly brakes even
on a steep slope if the joystick is moved into its central position. This guarantees
a safe and secure driving.
Operating time of the batteries:
The batteries have an operating time between 8 hours up to 2 days depending
on the work assignments.
