Description:
Responsible for assisting the Director of Finance with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses
of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Also closely
work with Director of Business Unit to provide analysis and information and provide financial guidance for various business decisions.
1. Assists in implementing best practices for the business segment with regard to financial policies and procedures.
2. Manages the SBU financial function including accounting, budget, forecasting/planning, operating plans, month-end/year-end
closing, and etc.
3. Maintains the business financial dashboard, providing business financial updates to senior management and the organization as
required.
4. Manages the business cost accounting system and provides analysis to the business leaders as needed. This includes, but may
not be limited to preparing reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income,
expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Specific examples of this include, Product P&Ls, Customer
P&Ls, Cost Center & Spending Reporting, and Dashboard Matrix.
5. Responsible for SOX compliance of the division.
6. Learn JBA and "Show Case Quarry" and own responsibility for financial modules; identify processes and procedures that need
improvement and lead the effort with the team.
7. Assures department processes and procedures are documented and are effective.
8. Assures on-time reporting to Jarden corporate
9. Develops good interactive working relationship with Shared Services
10. Work very closely and be a strategic partner with Director of Business Unit, sales, marketing and operation team and provide
them leadership and direction for the financial matters.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Broad training in accounting usually acquired through a college level education – Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in a distribution company with strong accounting , costing and financial skills
3-5 years job related experience overall
Strong working knowledge of GAAP
Business knowledge that includes sales, distribution, purchasing, products, etc.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• MBA / CPA would be an advantage
