Asuccessfulteamisasmuchabouton-fieldperformanceasoff,soaprofessionalattitude,
appearance,andmaturebehaviorareexpectedatalltimes.Youarerepresenting,your
family,yourteamandtheclubwhenyoutravel,andshouldconductyourselfaccordingly.
•
Theteamistotraveltoandfromgamesasagroup,includingplayers,coaches,andmanager.
•
AllplayersaretotraveltoandfromgamesinCMFSCMetrotracksuits.
•
Personalinformation,carecard#,andotheremergencyserviceinformationmustbeupto-datebeforetheplayerstravel.
•
Ifnoparentistraveling,playersshouldbeprovidedwithsufficientfundsforincidentalsby
theparent.
PLAYERPROTOCOLANDGUIDELINES
•
RoomassignmentsaredonebyCoachesand/ormanager.
•
Playersaretobeontimeforallteammeetingsandfollowteamitinerary
•
Allplayersaretoremainonhotelpropertyunlessapprovedbythecoachingstaff.
•
Games,training,dinners,andteamexcursionswillbepre-plannedforplayers
•
Playersleavinghotelpropertymustbeinthecompanyofacoachingstafforhavepermissionto
leave.
•
Playerfunctions(TBA)outsideofthehotelareasateam,inconjunctionwithsupervision.
•
Useofhotelfacilities(i.e.pool,fitnessrooms,etc.)istobeclearedthroughthecoachingstaff.
ROOMCONDUCT
•
Curfewswillbesetbyeachindividualteamandtoberespected.
•
Duringdowntime/freetimeatthehotel;playersareexpectedtorestorhangoutintheir
roomsandnothangoutinthehallways.
•
Noalcohol,drugsormembersoftheoppositesextobeallowedintheplayerrooms
•
Noteammemberswillbepermittedtogototheroomofplayersfromanotherclub
•
Playersshouldbequietandrespectfuloftheirroommates,aswellashotelguests&staff.
DRESSCODE
• PlayersarerequiredtowearCMFSCMetrokittracksuitsandortracksuitjacketsforallteamevents
(dinners;etc).
• PlayersarerequiredtowearCMFSCMetrokittoallpractices&games(inclusiveoftracksuit,shirts,
shortsandsocks).
•
Pleasebringalternatewhitejerseysandanyalternatefootweartoallgamesorpractices
SPORTSMANSHIPANDRESPECTFORTHEOPPOSITIONANDOFFICIALS
• Realizethatateam'sreputationisbuiltnotonlyonitsplayingabilitybutalsoonsportsmanship
• Playersaretorespecttheiropponentsandreserveanycommentsregardingdecisionsby
officials.
• Playersarerepresentingtheirteam,theirsoccerclubandtheirProvinceandtheirconduct(on
andoffthefield)shouldbeexemplary.
• Asperanygames,parentsarenottoprovideonfielddirectionandaretorefrainfrom
commentingondecisionsduringtheplayofthegame
NONCOMPLIANCE
• Iftheconductrulesarenotfollowed,suspensionandpossibleremovalfromtheteammay
result,dependingonseverity.
• Ifthereisnoparenttravelingwiththeteam,optionsfornon-compliancecouldincludethe
playerbeingsenthome(atparent’sexpense)byregionaltransit(i.e.busortrain)withanother
teamparentorarequestfortheplayer’sparenttocomeandpickthemup
