Key Stage 4 Guided Pathways Form 2017 Step 1 - Student Details Student Name Student Signature English Set e.g. 9pq1 Tutor e.g. 9L Parent Signature French Set e.g. 9P1 You need to choose a total of three courses (one or more from EBAC pathway and any remaining courses, up to a maximum of 3 courses, from the subject pathway). You will also be asked to make some reserve choices in case your combination of subjects cannot be timetabled for any reason or if there is not enough interest to make a viable sized group. Step 2 - Compulsory Subjects English Language English Literature Maths Science Step 3 - Additional Compulsory Subjects All students must take at least one subject from the EBAC subject list French GCSE is compulsory for Set 1 French – completed during one of the subject choice slots History and/or Geography GCSE is compulsory for Set 1 French – completed during one or two of the subject choice slots (depending on whether you take History or Geography or both) Step 4 - EBAC Subjects English Baccalaureate (EBAC) pathway All students must choose at least one of the following EBAC subjects. Set 1 French must select French here as well as History and/or Geography: Tick which EBAC - can be up to 3 ticks here Computer Science French (compulsory for Set 1 French) Geography History Triple Science (3 GCSEs) Step 5 - Subjects Remaining choices – Subjects pathway All students should select their remaining subjects (up to their maximum of 3 subjects in total, including those in the EBAC pathway above). Students should indicate their 1st choice by stating 1 in the preference column. They should also choose reserve subjects as shown below.
