1. ENERCITIES GAME: WHAT IS IT?
ENERCITIES game is a computer game for youngsters (15 – 22 years) to give
them insight information about energy, energy saving (for example: saving
electrical energy in your house) and renewable energy (like wind energy and
solar energy).
2. WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?
The game is under development. It will be launched in 2010. We
need your help in order to create a game that is nice to play and
offers insight about energy issues.
You are going to use a pilot version of
the game. This version is not the
finished game yet, but we need you to
play it to learn about your thoughts
and ideas. Based on your reactions,
we can make a better game. So speak
your mind and tell us what we need to
do to make this the best game ever!
The ENERCITIES team consists of a game developer called Paladin
Studios (Netherlands) and education institutions from European countries.
Your school is also involved!
3. HOW TO START WITH THE ENERCITIES GAME?
Registering
1. First you need to register your beta account. Go to http://www.enercities.eu/community
2. Click “Register” and accept the terms
3. Fill in your username, password, email and teacher code (if your teacher has one)
4. Click "Submit" to activate your beta user account
5. Your beta account is activated - you can now play the game.
