WE NEED YOUR WHEELS!
Literacy vendors: Library, Literacy Forsyth, Faith House, Lanier
Tech, PTO (LMMS, Chestatee & NFHS), Community Connections
 Wheels: NASCAR, Stock car, racing school, Tumble bus,
motorcycles, limos, fire & rescue, and even a unicycle!


Students will cook part of the meal and serve to tables

Ghost Stories and Mock

Students will gather around a campfire to hear and write stories from the
mystery genre under direction of magician/writer Tommy Johns
Johns will work with 8th graders during the end of the day leading up to the
event
Johns will perform magic tricks to add to the mystery of the evening

Mustang Gallery Crawl – Will feature the work of Title I students in all academic
areas – work will be displayed on lockers over butcher paper so people can
leave comments as they crawl
Parents will participate in an interactive survey “The Day in the Life of A
Classroom” where they will critique each classroom as an exhibit and look for
evidence for each of the 6 keys

in which each area will host a type of mock entertainment
setting of student performances

Family Game Night with CRCT prep games
An informative presentation on assessment
will be presented prior to the game

A multimedia event in which parents will
learn the basics of using multimedia tools to
create projects for school
Edmodo tips & tricks will also be presented

This event will feature healthcare professionals in the area that
offer services at reduced or no cost.
 The Park & Rec from Forsyth County will present programs
available for students in the summer

