If you need a transcript from a previous
course, send the following to the above
address:
$5.00 per set of letters, $10.00 for a full
transcript
Name, address, course title, SS#, phone
number, approximate date you took the
course
You may make payments with credit cards, certified checks, or money orders.
A $10.00 processing fee will be assessed for all late registrations.

I Need to Withdraw from a Class – What do I do?
PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND:
If you must withdraw from a course before the registration deadline, you will receive a full refund minus a
$20.00 processing fee. Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your written request and a $20.00
mail order to: Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit, Attention: Curriculum Services, 147 Poplar Avenue, Monaca,
PA 15061.
In your written request, please be sure to include your name, phone number, address and title of the course from
which you must withdraw. Participants eligible for a refund will have their credit card refunded or original
money order returned within 5 business days from the date of receipt.
PARTICIPANTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND:
If you must withdraw from a course after the registration deadline, you will not receive a refund. However,
participants wishing to avoid this fee may transfer to another class within the same semester. All requests must
be in writing.
I’ve Lost My Transcripts – What do I do?
If you misplaced your transcript or need additional copies please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with
your written request and a $5.00 processing fee(money order) to: Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit, Attention:
Curriculum Services, 147 Poplar Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061.
In your written request, please be sure to include your current name, name at the time you took the course, if
different, phone number, address at the time you took the course, PPID number and the approximate title and
date you took the course. Your request will be mailed within 5 business days from the date of receipt.
How Do I Register For Courses?
FIRST TIME USERS:
If you have not registered online for a CPE Course or an ACT 48 workshop at the BVIU before, follow
these steps:
1. Click “View All” at the bottom of the page.
2. Courses/Workshops/Meetings are listed alphabetically, find the course/workshop/meeting you need;
look to the far right of the course and click “Details”
3. Scroll to the top of the page and click “Register for Course”
4. Complete each of the fields listed on the screen.
a. Special Notes:
1. Your email address will become your username
2. You may choose any password you’d like
5. Click “Register” at the bottom of the page.
6. You will receive two separate email messages:
a. One indicating you have been registered for the course/ workshop/meeting and asking you to
choose your payment (with cash, credit cards, certified checks or money orders) to the BVIU.
b. One indicating you are registered to use the BVIU Online Course Registration Site and
reminding you of your username and password
VETERAN USERS:
If you have used this site before: Click “Login” on the Upper Right Hand Corner of the Screen and follow
these steps:
1. Click LOGIN in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
2. Enter your username: (your email address)
3. Enter your password: (if you don’t remember, it was emailed to you or you can call Jill Martin at 724774-7800 for assistance)
4. You should now see your name in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the website – select course/workshop/meeting – click “view All” at the bottom of
the page.
6. Courses/Workshops/Meetings are listed alphabetically, find the course/workshop/meeting you need look
to the far right of the course and click “Details”
7. Scroll to the top of the page and click “Register for Course”
8. You will receive an email indicating you have been registered for the course/workshop/meeting and
asking you to send your payment (with cash, credit cards, certified checks or money orders) to the
BVIU.
