The Music Moves Mountains Foundation and Band Aid School of Music to host
benefit concert on February 19th, 2017 at the One-2-One Bar in Austin, Texas
Austin, TX -- The Music Moves Mountains Foundation is partnering with Austin's Band Aid
School of Music to raise funds for music scholarships for disadvantaged children, special
needs training for music instructors, music therapy workshops and additional music
equipment for the school's expansion. A benefit concert is scheduled for Sunday, February
19th from 2-5pm at the One-2-One Bar located at 1509 S. Lamar Blvd. Ste. 600, Austin,
TX 78704. The concert will showcase student bands from the music school's Rock Band
program and will feature special guests Dan Dyer and Kevin McKinney. This is an all ages
event (under 21 with a parent/guardian) with a suggested $20 tax-deductible donation at
the door. A silent auction will be held on-site until 5pm; food will be provided by Austin
Land & Cattle (ALC Steaks).
Band Aid School of Music (BASOM) has been providing the best in music instruction, rock
band programs/camps, music performance, songwriting, production, music business and
recording opportunities in Austin since 2009. A local and national award-winning school,
BASOM serves over 250 students and is equipped with 20 instructors between two
locations. Due to its success and rapid growth, construction is under way for the expansion
of the Thornton Road location in South Austin. As a local, family-owned business that has
been more than generous in serving the Austin community by providing over $2000 in
scholarships every month and raising over $20,000 in funds for local charities, the time

The Music Moves Mountains Foundation (MMMF) is a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit
