The Senior Boys’ Rugby League team came up against a group of SEDA Schools who specialised in

SOCCER
The Senior Boys’ Soccer team overcame many difficulties to even get a team on the field.
They managed a win and a draw and if it wasn’t for the four penalties that they gave away
during the day they could have been playing in the finals. All the boys made a significant
contribution, especially considering the taxing schedule that meant they had to play five
matches back to back with only one substitute. The lads continued to chase the ball and
make tackles while maintaining a sense of fun and excitement through it all.
Awards- Navil (subway) and Dylan (Amart sports).
BASKETBALL
SNR boys Basketball played in the VCC competition on the 27th Of May.
It was a cold and dreary day in late May, a handsome teacher ventured out with 8 of his
warriors into the unknown realm, also known as Dandenong. Standing before the tribe of
ruthless warriors were four contests, testing their might and fortitude, each contest, a test
of their mental and physical resolve.
Their leader, ruthless, uncompromising and devastatingly handsome beset his warriors out
on their mission, he knew many would not return, but with a determined demeanour and
faith in his troops, they went forth.
The band of warriors returned loosing two out the four battles, and by an amazing twist of
fate, won two our the four. Licking their wounds the warriors escaped the evil land of
Dandenong to return to their homes, proud and encouraged by the reception they
received.
The evil overlord congratulated their efforts by stating that their skills on the battlefield and
respect they had for their opponents were the true stars of the day, with a grin on their
faces, the warriors embarked on their horses knowing that even though they had lost as
many battles as they had won, they were truly the overall winners on the day.
Tales will be told for ions to come, about the brave warriors, and their handsome
leader. Some will call it a myth, a legend, but those few that were there to witness history
will know the true tale, a tale of a man, his men and their uncompromising quest for
immortality.

SNR boys Basketball interschool sport- Finished 4th overall.
SNR girls Basketball interschool sport- Finished 6th overall. Considering the team was made
up of predominantly netball players the girls had a great day winning one game and drawing
one too. The girls started off the day against FHS and played extremely well as a team, the
scores were tied at half time but unfortunately FHS ran away with the win. The girls
demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and were an entertaining group to take out on sport.
Thanks for a great day girls!
