CCHC-1st-team-Sponsors-Pack-2013

Dear Sir, Madam
Thank you for taking a moment of your time to learn about the opportunity to partner with Cambridge
City Hockey Club. We are looking for partners who share our vision to provide the opportunity to play
hockey in a safe and friendly environment, to develop our players both on and off the pitch and to
continue to be the pre-eminent hockey club in the Cambridgeshire area.
The club’s aim is to offer opportunities to play hockey to people of all abilities, from grassroots and
juniors to elite players and has ambitious plans for the future. The club has already achieved its short
term objective – for the men’s 1st team to play National League hockey, having won the East Regional
League in the 2011/2012 season. In the first season the National League 2012/13 they managed to
compete and stay in the league and are now looking to develop further to achieve the next objective
which is to reach the National Premier League.
Ambitious plans such as these and national league hockey put an ever increasing financial pressure on
the club and we are currently looking for partners to support our men’s 1st team squad as player
sponsors.
The 1st team squad consists of highly talented and committed players with a
blend of youth and experience. Our player/coach is former Olympian, Nick
Thompson, who has 196 caps for Great Britain and England and potential
future Olympians, 18 year old Elliot Smith and 17 year old James Albery, who
was recently voted Young Player of the Year by the Hockey Writer’s
Association.
As a player sponsor you would receive the following coverage:
 Your company name or logo in every home programme displaying alongside the player’s photograph.
 A company advert, which would appear in our home programmes.
 Your company name or logo on the CCHC website displayed alongside the player’s photograph.
 Your company name or logo on the CCHC board at the Wilberforce Road clubhouse displayed
alongside the player’s photograph.

to club for drinks with the players.
 Monthly player updates on CCHC Facebook and Twitter pages mentioning the sponsor and link to our
website with the company name or logo.
Individual player sponsorship is available for £500. This is also a marketing, tax deductible expense.
There are also several other ways in which you can partner with CCHC, from full club sponsorship
including kit branding, to individual event or advertising opportunities.
If you are interested in player sponsorship or would like some further information please contact either
the player you might sponsor or Andy Richardson: [email protected] 07969 084203.
