Installation Instructions Playfield Protector

Installation Instructions Playfield Protector
Installation Instructions Playfield Protector.
This guide is created by the example of the Terminator 2 pinball.
In modern pinballmachines with ramps you have to disassemble Outlanes,
all ramps and maybe some plastics.
In older pinballmachines usually you only have to remove the plastics.
For all machines, the flipper and
Gates & possibly wireframe must be removed
After placing the protector please check all contacts / switches / bumpers
in contact test for proper function and adjust if neccessary.
Please be sure to use new balls!
The protector will be delivered slightly rolled.
Please carefully unroll it and put on a straight surface.

When the playfield is dry and clean you put the protector
( including protective film) once for inspection to check if everything fits.
The protector should be able to move approx.1-2mm.
Next remove both sides of the protective film.
Best you wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints.
Now, the protector can be placed finally.
now check all contacts / switches / Bumper to function with contact test.
ATTENTION! Of course the Drop targets must be adapted
to the new height of the playfield.
