HEART HEALTHY LUNCH DAY ÌÌ
The junior girls and boys teams have
been busy getting ready for league
play. Congratulations

MARCH IS NUTRITION
MONTH!!! Students and staff
can earn PIT POINTS on
Thursday, March 11th by packing
heart-healthy items in their
lunches. Up to five points can be
earned for things such as fruit,
vegetables, milk, juice and a good
source of protein. Teachers will
discuss suggestions with students
to help them plan their lunches.
Your support at home is greatly
appreciated.

SHOES FOR HAITI
Thank you to our School Council
for organizing this event. For
every pair of shoes donated,
students place a footprint on the
wall. We have started with a map
of Canada at one end of the school
& our footprints are making their
way to the map of Haiti at the
other end. What a wonderful way
to show your Global Citizenship
& truly leave a positive footprint ...
nice work Vipers!
Education Foundation of Niagara
Students had the opportunity to
donate loonies & toonies within
their classroom to raise money for
the EFN Poverty Fund. The class
that donated the most received
100 minutes of electronic games.
Just over $ 150.00 was raised to
help students throughout Niagara.

DANCE-A-THON
A huge thank you goes out to all
who supported and participated in
our Dance-a-thon. Students had
a great time dancing in the gym
and just over $1900.00 was raised
for school activities. Way to go
Valley Way! Also, a special thanks
to Mr. Wilson, our resident D.J.,
& to the other parents who helped
organize & supervise the event.

Just a reminder to everyone that
we do not throw or kick snow at
Valley Way. Thank you for your

as we all work to keep Valley Way
