WRESTLING ACCOLADES
Congratulations to our RAM WRESTLERS! After taking 3rd place in
our area, our Rams wrestled their way by means of ramming: the
Bears, the Ravens, the Miners and the Marlins securing 2nd in our
Area and 1st, yes 1st place, at our Area Tournament! We are

7th place in the District finals this season!
AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
Mr. Errotabere was an outstanding teacher, coach, inspirational
leader, exemplary role model, and a person of character. As a
tribute to Mr. Errotabere, the “Rene Errotabere Award of
Excellence in Wrestling” is presented each year to a superior 6th
grade Wrestler who exemplifies the Six Pillars of Character Counts,
as well as outstanding enthusiasm, diligence, and skills associated
with wrestling. CONGRATULATIONS to Dominic Aliotti!!
VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Varsity Lady Rams had a phenomenal basketball
season. They went undefeated to become the Clovis North area
champs. Then they went on to the District Championships on
January 28th where they out played Nelson, Reagan, and Valley
Oak to become the District Champions of 2016! Coach Konze was
overwhelmed with how the girls played with heart and character.
VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL
Varsity Boys Basketball played tough and closed the gap to almost
take down the Spartans of Tarpey. Great season boys!

pictures for the following events: Spring sports, field trips, class
photos including Valentine's Day parties, and multi-cultural
fashion show. The deadline for these pictures will be February

ATTENTION ALL SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS
Sixth Grade Baby Photos Needed
Every year we love to feature baby pictures of our sixth grade
students. There is no charge for this! If your child is a current
sixth grader and you would like to have their baby picture in the
yearbook, please submit your photo no later than February
29th. We are accepting a digital copy or a scanned copy of an
original photo to a CD. You may also e-mail your scanned picture
to [email protected].
A Family Message to your Sixth Grade Student
This year, the Riverview Yearbook will have a special section for
sixth grade messages. You have a unique opportunity to write a
short message to your sixth grade student that will be printed on
a page in the yearbook. This is only available for sixth grade
students. You can congratulate your student on their hard work,
tell them how proud you are of them, etc. Messages must be
able to fit in the allowed space. The space will be 3.75 x 3.5
inches. Cost is $35 per space (cash or check made payable to
“Clovis USD”). If you would like to purchase a message for your
student, please submit the form sent home with your payment to
the office. Then e-mail your message to
