PURPOSE:
The Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth Golf Classic is an annual golf tournament
created to raise funds for programs provided by Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth.
COURSE:
The tournament will be held at the Bear Creek Golf Club. The tournament will be
played on the west course of the club located at the south end of DFW International Airport, at
3500 Bear Creek Court.
GOLF CLASSIC DETAILS: Golf Classic 2015 will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015. The
tournament will use a Florida Scramble format, and will begin with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
An awards lunch will be held immediately following the tournament at the Bear Creek outdoor
pavilions.
PRIZES AND CONTESTS: Each golfer will receive a welcome gift and a door prize. Team prizes
will also be awarded. Contests will take place on the course during the tournament including:
men’s and ladies longest drive, straightest drive, hole in one and more. Donations of items for
door prizes are being accepted.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Players will have the opportunity to bid on various prizes in a silent
auction. Raffle tickets will also be available for other prizes including airline tickets. Donations
of prizes for the silent auction are being accepted.
REGISTRATION: Players may register individually or in teams of four. A registration form is
included in this packet.
SPONSORSHIPS:
Golf sponsorships are available. Each level features various benefits.
Special awards lunch and contest sponsorship levels are also available. A special hole
sponsorship is available for those who cannot participate but wish to show their support.

MISSION
The mission of Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth is to extend a helping hand to people in need or
crisis related to separation from home, family, or financial support systems.
AGENCY OVERVIEW
Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth is a non-profit organization that serves the DFW International
Airport community and surrounding communities. Since its founding in 1974, Travelers Aid
Dallas/Fort Worth has provided a growing variety of human service programs designed to meet
the emergency transportation assistance and information needs of travelers and area residents.
The agency is a member of Travelers Aid International. Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth is a
501 (c) (3) non-profit agency. Services are provided to over 65,000 clients annually.
PROGRAMS
Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth provides assistance to families and individuals in crisis or
transition or who are separated from their normal support systems through two primary
programs. The Client Intervention program is comprised of twelve social service components:

The Volunteer Information Program is designed to provide assistance and information to airport
patrons about the airport, airlines, and area attractions. Volunteers staff three information
booths in the terminals. In addition, Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth operates the lost and
found for DFW International Airport.
FACILITIES
Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth operates from offices located in terminal E, lower level at E4 at
DFW International Airport. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and
from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth also
operates a booth at the Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center in downtown Fort Worth.
The booth is open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday.
