Leicester City and Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Boards work with key partners to support learning across the children’s workforce
in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.
Please note that LSCB training and learning opportunities are funded by the LSCB and local partners. This funded training is available to
those who work or support practitioners who work in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. If you do not meet these criteria, but will still
like to access our learning events, please contact the LSCB and we may be able to arrange attendance for a charge.
There are a number of FREE different LSCB learning events and activities, which we would encourage you to look at:

Introductory training:
LSCB funded Essential Awareness
for the Private, Voluntary and
independent sectors
Fully funded training which offers the
core / introductory skills in
safeguarding children.
For statutory partners – e.g. Local
Authority, District Council LPT, CCG,
Leicestershire Police etc. please
contact your own organisation for
this training.
A range of training courses, briefing
session’s events etc., covering a
number of different topics.
There is no restriction to the number
of courses that can be accessed.
