Summer Bridge AVID Program
• Incoming 7th & 8th Grade AVID students
– Grade 7 will take Science
– Grade 8 will take Mathematics
• When:
– July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015,
– Monday through Thursday from 8:30 – 12:45
• Where:
– Lathrop Intermediate School
• Application Process:
– A letter is being mailed home for registration
– First comes first serves basis for the first 25 students in each
grade level (7th & 8th)
– Application is to be turned in to Ms. Rangel, Main Office
– Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2015.

Summer Bridge Transition Program
• Incoming 6th Grade Students
– Introduction to Middle School
– Opportunity to build a strong foundation for literacy and mathematics
• Informational texts & Mathematical Practices focus via the use of technology
• When:
– July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015,
– Monday through Thursday from 8:30 – 12:45
• Where:
– Lathrop Intermediate School

– Academic Enrichment Programs
• The program will concentrate on the following areas: literacy, math, enrichment
and FUN!
• When:
– Tuesday, June 23, 2015 – Wednesday, July 29, 2015
– Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 12:00pm
• Where:
– Lathrop Intermediate School
• Application Process:
– An application has already been passed out during the week of May 4,
2015
– Complete Engage 360 Summer Enrollment Form
– Submit applications to the front office
– First-come, first-served basis for the initial 120 students
– Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2015
