CATEGORIES
Registration fees are refundable (less a 20 GBP administrative fee) up to 3 weeks prior to the
race. Cancellation request must be sent to [email protected] by 1159pm / 23:59
CET June 8. Entries are not refundable after June 9. Registrations are not transferable.

EWS uses December 31 2017 as the age calculation date.

LICENSE
REQUIREMENTS
and
MEMBERSHIP
The race is sanctioned by the French Cycling Federation. Competitors must have either a FFC or
UCI license.
Non-licensed riders will be permitted to register upon presentation of a medical certificate (issued
within the previous 12 months) certifying fitness for competitive sports / mountain biking racing.
The organizer will secure accident insurance on behalf of unlicensed racers. The terms of this
insurance can be provided to participants on request. This subscription is free for non-licensed
participants.
It is strongly recommended that all racers have their own personal medical / accident before
participating in events.
Only competitors holding an EMBA membership will be seeded for the start and eligible for Enduro
World Series points and any associated Enduro World Series prize money or overall titles. A rider
must hold a valid EMBA membership prior to starting the race in which they hope to win points.
No points will be awarded retrospectively should a rider purchase an EMBA membership after an
event.

Terrain type: The Millau EWS will take place in the typical landscape of Averon, the famous
« Causse ». It will alternate between loamy forest and rocky ground. Expect some steep terrain.

The Enduro race will be part of 4day Natural Games Festival (outdoor sports and music festival).

Riders must wear a full face helmet (either fixed or detachable) at all times during the race including liaison stages on the bike. It is not permissible to carry a second helmet attached to the
pack / body.
Full fingered gloves, knee pads and a CE certified back protector are compulsory. A backpack can
replace the back protector if it includes CE certified back protection.
Other equipment rules and race rules / penalties will be included in the Race Book.

Millau is poorly served by train.
Rodez, Toulouse and Montpellier are the last stops one can take by train - and then requires a
transfer by bus to arrive to Millau. Information regarding travel by train available at :

Recommendation for riders not travelling by car is to fly / rent a vehicle.
