Fall Season Begins August 20, 2012 for Football and Cheerleading and the rest of the fall sports August 23, 2012

Requirements
Permission Slips : were due May 25, 2012 (The forms will be available May 1, 2012 in the Athletic Office and to download
from the Forms page of the Athletics Page of the Mansfield Public Schools web site )
Physicals: To be eligible to participate in the fall season a physical on file needs to be submitted. Physicals to be current
need to be within 13 months of their last physical. THIS RULE IS NEW AS OF JUNE 11, 2012 ~ MIAA Board of Directors
ruling.
User Fee: As of this date there is a $125 fee due for each athlete per season with a $400 family maximum for the 20122013 season. The link will enable you to pay via MasterCard or Discover Card (with a fee applied) or you can pay with a
check and no fee will be applied. Online payments will be available August 1, 2012 for sports not making cuts. A check for
sports that are making cuts are required by August 15th. Students on free or reduced lunch still need to go to the Athletic
Department and are not able to access this online process for payment.
Captain’s Practices
Are held during the summer but are not mandatory… They are for conditioning only. Coaches are not present.
